Gamification
Gamification is the act of bringing games into the classroom. Much like a video game that has extrinsic rewards, gamification allows the students to "level up" by achieving specific goals. Using this approach can make the learning process more like a video game than learning. Learn more about gamification by clicking here. This presentation will demonstrate a way that I've used gamification during my dance unit. Students will earn stickers for each activity they master and keep track of activities on a student worksheet.
